Reports and ledgers

The reports your CAasks for.

The sales register drops into GSTR-1 preparation, and the GST summary is already split the way the return splits it. Beside them: HSN, ageing, payments, four reports for the buying side and two ledgers. Your CA reads all of them from a free seat.

Split the way the return splits it.

Not a cut of the books that has to be re-sorted: the tables a filer actually fills, with credit notes netted off and the gross shown beside the net.

No. 02Every report

Sales, purchases, the money.

  • Sales register

Every issued invoice, with credit notes in their own section rather than negative rows.

  • GST and HSN summaries

By rate and by HSN or SAC, reconciling against the register.

  • Outstanding and ageing

What each client owes, in ageing buckets; and payments by mode.

  • The buying side

Purchase register, ITC summary, payables ageing and expenses by category.

No. 03The two ledgers

Wide enough to answer with.

The payments ledger is every movement of money with a running balance. The invoice ledger is every invoice wide: both GSTINs, the place of supply, the tax split, what was paid, what credit was applied, and what is left.

  • Balance is total less paid less credit applied, the same three figures the invoice carries
  • The running balance is right across pages
  • CSV, Excel or PDF on Business and Enterprise

No. 05Questions

Asked before buying.

01Does it produce the GSTR-1 JSON or file the return?

No. It produces the figures, split by table, for your CA to prepare and file the return.

02Is there a GSTR-3B report?

Not as its own report. Your CA prepares GSTR-3B from the GST summary on the sales side and the ITC summary on the buying side.

03Who can read the reports?

Owners, Admins, Accountants and the free Viewer seat. Staff cannot.
